This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Creator Agreement, Subscription Terms, Payments and Payouts Policy, and any checkout information shown before purchase.


1. Overview

Fandations may allow users to purchase, subscribe to, unlock or support creator content.

This may include:

  1. subscriptions;

  2. paid posts;

  3. paid downloads;

  4. paid communities;

  5. templates;

  6. guides;

  7. digital files;

  8. livestream access;

  9. one-off unlocks;

  10. tips;

  11. support payments;

  12. creator bundles;

  13. other digital services or content.

Because many Fandations purchases involve digital content or immediate digital access, refunds may be limited once access has started, unless required by law or approved by Fandations.


2. Important Digital Content Notice

When you buy digital content, unlock paid content, subscribe to a creator, access a paid community, download a file, stream content, view paid material, or receive immediate digital access, you may lose certain cancellation or refund rights once access begins, where permitted by law.

At checkout, Fandations may ask you to confirm that:

I understand that I am purchasing digital content or digital access and that access may begin immediately.

Where required, we may also ask you to confirm that you consent to immediate access and acknowledge that cancellation rights may be affected once digital content is accessed or supplied.

UK consumer-rights rules can apply differently depending on the type of digital content, how access is supplied, what information is shown at checkout, and what consent or acknowledgement is collected. You should have this wording reviewed by a UK solicitor before launch.


3. General Refund Position

Refunds are not automatic.

Fandations may consider refunds where:

  1. you were charged incorrectly;

  2. you were charged more than once by mistake;

  3. there was a technical payment error;

  4. you did not receive access due to a platform fault;

  5. the content was unavailable due to a confirmed Fandations issue;

  6. fraud or unauthorised payment is confirmed;

  7. the law requires a refund;

  8. Fandations decides a refund is appropriate.

Refunds may be refused where:

  1. digital content has already been accessed, streamed, downloaded, unlocked or used;

  2. a subscription period has already started;

  3. the user simply changed their mind after access began;

  4. the user forgot to cancel before renewal;

  5. the creator content was available as described;

  6. the issue was caused by the user’s device, internet connection or account misuse;

  7. the user breached Fandations rules;

  8. the request appears abusive, fraudulent or dishonest;

  9. the payment was a voluntary tip or support payment;

  10. the refund is not required by law.


4. Subscription Refunds

Creators may offer paid subscriptions on Fandations.

Subscriptions may provide access to creator content, communities, posts, messages, downloads, benefits or other features.

Unless stated otherwise:

  1. subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled;

  2. subscription charges are billed according to the billing cycle shown at checkout;

  3. cancellation stops future renewals;

  4. cancelling does not automatically refund past payments;

  5. access may continue until the end of the paid period;

  6. partial refunds are not guaranteed;

  7. subscription benefits may change over time;

  8. failed payments may result in loss of access.

You are responsible for cancelling a subscription before it renews if you do not want to be charged again.


5. Subscription Cancellation

You can usually cancel your subscription from your account, billing area or subscription settings.

After cancellation:

  1. future renewal payments should stop;

  2. you may keep access until the end of the current paid period;

  3. you may lose access when the paid period ends;

  4. refunds for unused time are not guaranteed;

  5. cancellation does not remove your obligation to pay charges already incurred.

6. Forgotten Cancellations

Refunds are not usually provided because a user forgot to cancel a subscription before renewal.

However, Fandations may review a request where:

  1. there was a clear technical issue preventing cancellation;

  2. the cancellation system was unavailable;

  3. the renewal charge was clearly made in error;

  4. applicable law requires a refund;

  5. Fandations decides a refund is fair in the circumstances.


7. Paid Posts and One-Off Unlocks

Creators may offer paid posts or one-off content unlocks.

Once paid content has been accessed, viewed, streamed, downloaded or unlocked, refunds are usually not available unless required by law or approved by Fandations.

Refunds may be considered where:

  1. the content was not made available due to a platform fault;

  2. the payment was duplicated;

  3. the content was materially different from its description;

  4. there was a confirmed technical error;

  5. the content was removed before you could access it due to a Fandations issue;

  6. the law requires a refund.

Refunds may be refused where:

  1. you accessed the content;

  2. you downloaded the content;

  3. you changed your mind;

  4. you did not like the content;

  5. the creator’s style or opinion did not meet your expectations;

  6. your device or internet connection prevented access;

  7. you breached platform rules;

  8. you attempted to copy, leak or redistribute the content.


8. Digital Downloads

Digital downloads may include files, templates, guides, documents, images, videos, audio, worksheets, tools or other digital materials.

Once a digital download has been made available, accessed or downloaded, refunds are usually not available unless required by law or approved by Fandations.

Before purchasing a digital download, check:

  1. the title;

  2. description;

  3. file type;

  4. creator information;

  5. price;

  6. access terms;

  7. any stated limitations.

If a file is broken, missing, corrupted or inaccessible due to a platform fault, contact us.


9. Paid Communities

Some creators may offer access to paid communities.

Refunds for paid community access are not usually available once access has started.

A refund may be considered where:

  1. you were charged incorrectly;

  2. you could not access the community due to a confirmed platform issue;

  3. the community did not exist;

  4. the community was materially misrepresented;

  5. the law requires a refund.

A refund is not usually available because:

  1. you changed your mind;

  2. you did not participate;

  3. you did not like the community;

  4. you disagreed with the creator;

  5. you were removed for breaching platform rules;

  6. you forgot to cancel a recurring subscription.


10. Livestreams and Events

Where Fandations supports paid livestreams or digital events, refund availability may depend on the event terms shown at purchase.

Refunds may be considered where:

  1. the livestream was cancelled;

  2. the livestream failed due to a platform issue;

  3. you were charged incorrectly;

  4. access was not provided;

  5. the law requires a refund.

Refunds may not be available where:

  1. you missed the livestream;

  2. you joined late;

  3. your device, browser or internet connection failed;

  4. you were removed for breaching rules;

  5. replay access was made available where promised;

  6. the creator delivered the event substantially as described.


11. Tips and Support Payments

Tips and support payments are voluntary payments made to support creators.

Unless stated otherwise, tips and support payments are usually non-refundable.

Refunds may be considered where:

  1. the payment was duplicated;

  2. the payment was unauthorised;

  3. there was a confirmed technical error;

  4. fraud is confirmed;

  5. the law requires a refund;

  6. Fandations decides a refund is appropriate.

Do not send a tip or support payment unless you are sure you want to support the creator.


12. Bundles and Special Offers

Creators may offer bundles, discounts, promotions or special offers.

Refunds for bundles may be limited once any part of the bundle has been accessed, streamed, downloaded, unlocked or used.

Promotional prices may be temporary.

Fandations does not guarantee that a previous promotion, discount or special offer will remain available.


13. Creator Removal or Content Removal

If a creator removes content, changes content, is suspended, or leaves Fandations, refund availability may depend on the circumstances.

Refunds may be considered where:

  1. you paid for content that was never supplied;

  2. access was removed before you could use it due to a platform issue;

  3. the creator materially misrepresented the content;

  4. Fandations removed content before access due to policy enforcement and a refund is appropriate;

  5. applicable law requires a refund.

Refunds are not guaranteed where:

  1. you already accessed the content;

  2. the subscription period had already started;

  3. content was removed because you breached platform rules;

  4. content was removed for safety, legal or policy reasons;

  5. creator benefits changed over time;

  6. you expected future content that was not specifically promised.


14. Account Suspension or Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated because you breached Fandations rules, you may lose access to subscriptions, paid content, messages, communities, downloads, creator tools or account features.

Refunds are not usually available where access is lost because of your breach of:

  1. Terms and Conditions;

  2. Community Guidelines;

  3. Prohibited Content Policy;

  4. Creator Agreement;

  5. Payment rules;

  6. safety rules;

  7. applicable law.

Fandations may still issue a refund where required by law.


15. Creator Payout Impact

If a user receives a refund, chargeback or payment reversal, the creator’s earnings from that transaction may be reduced, reversed, withheld or offset.

Creators are not entitled to receive payouts from transactions that are refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, unlawful or invalid.

Refunds, chargebacks and payment disputes may affect creator balances, payout eligibility and future payouts.


16. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a problem with a payment, please contact Fandations first at:

A chargeback is a payment dispute raised through your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Chargebacks can create costs, account restrictions and payment delays.

Fandations may restrict or suspend accounts where we believe there is:

  1. chargeback abuse;

  2. fraudulent payment activity;

  3. repeated payment disputes;

  4. false claims;

  5. misuse of subscriptions;

  6. unauthorised payment activity;

  7. attempts to access content without paying.

If you raise a chargeback after accessing digital content, we may provide evidence to the payment provider showing access, delivery, account activity and transaction records.


17. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you were charged twice for the same purchase, contact us at:

  3. amount charged;

  4. payment method used;

  5. screenshots or receipts, if available;

  6. description of the issue.

If a duplicate payment is confirmed, Fandations may refund the duplicate charge.


18. Unauthorised Payments

Fandations may investigate unauthorised payment claims and may request information from you.

We may restrict account access during an investigation to protect users, creators and the platform.


19. Technical Problems

If you paid for content but cannot access it due to a technical issue, contact us.

  2. the content or creator involved;

  3. the payment date;

  4. the error message, if any;

  5. screenshots, if helpful;

  6. your device and browser;

  7. a short description of the issue.

Where possible, Fandations may try to restore access before issuing a refund.

A refund may be considered if the issue was caused by Fandations and access cannot reasonably be provided.


20. Creator Disputes

If you have a concern about a creator, contact Fandations.

Examples include:

  1. content not delivered;

  2. misleading description;

  3. suspected scam;

  4. creator harassment;

  5. prohibited content;

  6. copyright issues;

  7. finance-related concerns;

  8. unsafe health claims;

  9. creator requesting off-platform payment.

Fandations may review the issue and may take action where appropriate.

Refunds are not guaranteed for creator disputes, especially where content was accessed and supplied as described.


21. Off-Platform Payments

Fandations cannot usually help with payments made outside the official Fandations checkout system.

If a creator asks you to pay outside Fandations for content, subscriptions, unlocks or benefits promoted through Fandations, you should report it.

Off-platform payments may violate Fandations rules and may not be protected by Fandations support, refund or dispute processes.


22. Currency, Fees and Exchange Rates

Payments may be processed in the currency shown at checkout.

Your bank, card provider or payment provider may charge additional fees, including:

  1. currency conversion fees;

  2. international transaction fees;

  3. card fees;

  4. bank charges;

  5. payment provider fees.

Fandations is not responsible for fees charged by your bank, card provider or payment provider.

Refund amounts may differ from the original amount received by you due to exchange rates, fees or provider rules.


23. Taxes

Some payments may include VAT, sales tax or other applicable taxes, depending on your location, the type of purchase and legal requirements.

Refunds may include or exclude taxes depending on the transaction, payment provider rules and applicable law.

Creators are responsible for their own tax obligations.


24. Refund Method

Where a refund is approved, it will usually be returned to the original payment method.

Refund processing times may depend on:

  1. payment provider;

  2. card issuer;

  3. bank;

  4. country;

  5. currency;

  6. fraud checks;

  7. payment status.

Fandations cannot guarantee the exact time it will take for refunded funds to appear in your account.


25. Refund Request Timeframe

You should request a refund as soon as possible after discovering an issue.

Refund requests should usually be made within 14 days of the transaction unless a longer period is required by law or approved by Fandations.

Late refund requests may be refused, especially where content has already been accessed, used, downloaded or supplied.

Incomplete requests may take longer to review.


27. Refund Review Process

After receiving a refund request, Fandations may:

  1. review the transaction;

  2. check access records;

  3. check whether content was delivered;

  4. review payment provider data;

  5. contact the creator where appropriate;

  6. investigate technical issues;

  7. review fraud or abuse risk;

  8. check whether the law requires a refund;

  9. approve or reject the request.

We may ask you for more information before making a decision.


28. Abuse of Refunds

Fandations may restrict or suspend accounts that misuse refunds, subscriptions, payments or chargebacks.

Examples of abuse include:

  1. repeatedly buying and requesting refunds after accessing content;

  2. falsely claiming non-access;

  3. using chargebacks to avoid payment;

  4. sharing paid content after receiving a refund;

  5. creating multiple accounts to exploit promotions;

  6. making fraudulent payment claims;

  7. threatening creators to force refunds;

  8. using stolen payment methods.

Refund abuse may result in account restrictions, loss of access, payment blocks, suspension or termination.


29. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Fandations does not guarantee that any creator content, course, post, template, guide, livestream, download, message or community will produce a specific result.

Refunds are not usually available simply because content did not produce your desired outcome.

Fandations does not guarantee:

  1. income;

  2. profit;

  3. investment returns;

  4. business success;

  5. grades;

  6. qualifications;

  7. employment;

  8. health outcomes;

  9. legal outcomes;

  10. creator earnings;

  11. personal results.


30. Finance, Business and Educational Content

Some creator content may relate to business, money management, budgeting, trading, investing, entrepreneurship or similar topics.

Such content is for general education only.

Fandations does not provide financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice or regulated financial services.

Refunds are not usually available because you made a financial, business, investment or personal decision based on creator content.

You should seek advice from a qualified and authorised professional before making important financial, tax, investment, business, legal or health decisions.


31. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Updates may reflect:

  1. platform changes;

  2. payment provider changes;

  3. subscription changes;

  4. refund process changes;

  5. legal requirements;

  6. fraud prevention needs;

  7. creator monetisation changes;

  8. operational changes.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of Fandations after changes means you accept the updated Refund Policy.
